Tony Gabor represents businesses and individuals in all areas of commercial and employment litigation. He joined Oberman Thompson & Segal, LLC, in October 2010, after several years of practice at two mid-size Minnesota law firms and as a solo practitioner.
Tony represents clients involved in lawsuits that arise from contract disputes, business torts, fraud, defamation, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of non-compete/non-solicitation agreements and employment discrimination claims. Tony also works with clients with respect to employee discipline and termination matters. He has tried and litigated cases in several Minnesota state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, and has argued before the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
To complement his practice, Tony is a member of the Douglas K. Amdahl Inn of Court, an ambassador with the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member and councilperson of the Practice Management & Marketing section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He has been repeatedly recognized as a “Rising Star Attorney” by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine.
Tony graduated from Bradley University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. After five years in the commercial printing industry, he decided to pursue a career in the law and received his J.D. degree in 2003 from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago while continuing to work full time. In law school, Tony was a member of the Moot Court program and was a finalist in the Chicago Bar Association’s 2001 Moot Court Competition, where he was named to the top five in the best oralist category.
Tony is admitted to practice in Minnesota and before the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. He is also a member of the Minnesota and Hennepin County Bar Associations.
